At MyActive Glossop, our SEND swimming sessions are all about helping children with special educational needs and disabilities build confidence, independence, and vital water safety skills, all in a safe, supportive space.
Led by experienced teacher Belinda Wyatt, who brings a background in nursing and occupational therapy, sessions are tailored to each child’s individual goals, with teaching delivered in the water for extra support and connection.
We also run SEND Family Swims on selected Saturdays and during school holidays - a relaxed way to explore the pool, meet Belinda, and chat about what might be right for your child.
Lessons are currently full, but a waiting list is open as we explore expanding this valued community offer.
