Glossop sits within High Peak, a community with real opportunity to improve physical activity levels and reduce health inequalities as part of a connected range of partners working to the shared aims of the Move More High Peak Strategy.
As General Manager, you will play a vital role as a local ambassador for MyActive, strengthening relationships with community groups, local health partners, schools and key stakeholders to ensure our services truly meet local needs.
MyActive Glossop is a multi-activity community hub, complemented by MyActive Glossop Swim, located approximately one mile away in Howard Park. Together, the two sites offer a broad and accessible mix of wellbeing, fitness and sport opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, operating as one connected service for the town.
You’ll be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment where everyone feels supported to move more, feel better, and live well. You’ll lead by example, empowering your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
