With the arrival of longer days and brighter skies, MyActive is excited to launch Spring into Action, a campaign designed to inspire communities across High Peak and Staffordshire Moorlands to embrace movement, connection, and wellbeing as the seasons shift.
Running through May, Spring into Action brings a fresh wave of activities, events, and initiatives aimed at helping people take simple steps toward a more active lifestyle. Whether it’s joining a family-friendly fitness session, taking part in an outdoor wellness event, or exploring sustainable choices, the campaign offers something for everyone.
Work on the redevelopment of MyActive Leek continues at pace as the demolition phase is completed and the foundations are laid for the new structure.
Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is leading the £17 million project to expand and fully modernise the facilities with the new health and wellbeing centre due to re-open in early 2026.
