We’re delighted to welcome you to the brand-new MyActive Leek, marking an exciting new chapter for leisure and wellbeing in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Following a major redevelopment, the centre has been transformed into a modern, welcoming and inclusive space, designed to help people of all ages and abilities move more, feel better and connect with others.

Whether you’re here to swim, work out, join a class, spend time with family or simply find a way to move that works for you, there’s something for everyone.

The new centre features:

  • A six lane 25m main pool with accessible entry points
  • A learner pool for lessons, classes and casual use
  • A state of the art fitness suite
  • A 20 bike immersive group cycling studio
  • Modern changing areas serving the pools
  • A fully inclusive ‘changing places’ facility for people with additional needs or disabilities
  • An improved café and reception area to relax and socialise
  • A community wellness suite for beginners, post injury rehabilitation or GP referrals
  • A new soft play area for children to learn, play and have fun

Monday - Friday 06:00 to 22:00

Saturday & Sunday 08:00 to 17:00

GETTING HERE

Walking

From Leek town centre it is a 10-15 minute walk through Brough Park.

Cycling

Leek has rolling hills. The centre is easy to reach by bike from most parts of town.

Bus

D&G Bus 16 / 18 / 108. Bus stops Ball Haye Road or Vicarage Road are a 5-15 min walk to the centre.

Train

There’s no train station in Leek. The nearest stations are Congleton and Stoke-on-Trent.

MyActive Leek NOW OPEN!

The doors to MyActive Leek are officially open, welcoming the whole community into a new space for movement, health, wellbeing and connection.

And you don’t need to be a member to enjoy it. Whether you want to make MyActive part of your everyday routine or just pop in from time to time, there are plenty of ways to use the new centre.

You could enjoy a swim, book a pay-as-you-go fitness class, use the gym, bring the family along, take part in a health and wellbeing programme or simply meet someone for a hot or cold drink.

MyActive Leek to open its doors on Tuesday 18th August

MyActive Leek will officially open on Tuesday 18th August, welcoming the community back into a brand-new health and wellbeing centre designed to help people of all ages improve their lives through movement.

Construction has now been completed and the building will be handed over this week, allowing MyActive teams to carry out final testing, commissioning and preparations ahead of opening day.
